We are grateful to God for the children that he has blessed us with. Teaching and shepherding our children to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ for God’s glory and their joy is core to the mission of The Crossing. We have structured our children’s ministry with this mission in mind.
Age 3 to 5th Grade
Children ages 3 through 5th Grade remain in the service with their parents while we sing songs of worship to our God. We do this so that our children can see their parents, older children, and other adults celebrating the greatness of our God. Immediately before the sermon, children age 3 through 5th grade are dismissed to age appropriate classes where they will be taught about God’s story of salvation through Jesus Christ. Over the course of several months, each class will learn about glorious, true story from beginning to end, all the while seeing Jesus and the main character and their only hope for abundant and eternal life with God. Parents may feel free to escort the children to their classes or to have their kids remain in the sanctuary with them during the sermon. After the service, please pick up your children from their classes immediately so that the teachers can have time to connect with others.
Nursery (Age 0-2)
We have a nursery available for babies (Age 0-2) available for the duration of our worship gathering. After the service, please pick up your children from their classes immediately so that the nursery workers can have time to connect with others.
Mother & Infant Room
We have a room for mothers with infants available for nursing mothers. The service will be played on a television in the room so that you can still watch and listen to what is happening in the sanctuary.

For those who already serve, thank you for everything you do to love and serve the kids and families of The Crossing. The significance of what you do to care for these children goes far beyond what we can even comprehend. Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” (Mark 9:37) The point is, loving and serving children in the name of Christ is equivalent to loving and serving God–it is true worship. You who lay down your lives to serve the children are truly among the greatest in the Kingdom of God, and we trust that you are encouraged and motivated by that truth.
We look forward to seeing these children mature in their love for Christ and His Kingdom, and with faith we anticipate the day when these children will be the leaders of the Church, laying their lives down to make disciples of all nations.
