We are grateful to God for the children that he has blessed us with. Teaching and shepherding our children to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ for God’s glory and their joy is core to the mission of The Crossing. We have structured our children’s ministry with this mission in mind.
When you come to our Sunday Gathering, you will be able to sign your children into their respective classes. Infants, Toddlers and Pre-K children may be signed in and dropped off at their classes 10 minutes before each service. Children in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade may be signed into their class, but they will remain in the worship service with their parents to sing songs that celebrate what Christ has done for us. Immediately before the sermon, the children will be dismissed to their class.
Note: Parents may feel free to escort the children to their classes or to have their kids remain in the sanctuary with them during the sermon. After the service, please pick up your children from their classes immediately so that the teachers can have time to connect with others.
- Infant Nursery (0 – 9 months)
- Little Movers (10 – 18 months)
- Toddler Nursery (1½ – 2½ months)
- Preschool (2½ – 3 years)
- Pre-K – Kindergarten (4 – 5 years)
- 1st Grade – 3rd Grade
Children Pre-K through 3rd Grade are taught about God’s story of salvation through Jesus Christ. Over the course of several months, each class will learn about the glorious, true story from beginning to end. As they work through the little stories that make up this Grand Story, they will learn to see Jesus as the main character of the Bible and their only hope for abundant and eternal life with God. We use The Gospel Story for Kids from New Growth Press as our curriculum.
Mother & Infant Room
We have a room for mothers with infants available for nursing mothers.

For those who already serve, thank you for everything you do to love and serve the kids and families of The Crossing. The significance of what you do to care for these children goes far beyond what we can even comprehend. Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” (Mark 9:37) The point is, loving and serving children in the name of Christ is equivalent to loving and serving God–it is true worship. You who lay down your lives to serve the children are truly among the greatest in the Kingdom of God, and we trust that you are encouraged and motivated by that truth.
We look forward to seeing these children mature in their love for Christ and His Kingdom, and with faith we anticipate the day when these children will be the leaders of the Church, laying their lives down to make disciples of all nations.
