Missions

We believe that God has called all of His people to a mission to make disciples of all nations for His glory and our joy. This mission includes those in our community as well as those throughout our region and the world. Our desire is to be committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through cross-cultural missions both locally and abroad through sending, giving, and going.

Locally

    Daniel & Michelle Smith, Dan Boryla, and Bobby & Alexandra Rainbolt are missionaries to Colorado State University and the surrounding college and high school campuses. Through their respective campus ministries they seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ and equip those disciples to do the same. Daniel, Michelle and Dan are on staff with the Navigators, and Bobby & Alexandra are on staff with Cru.

    Turning Point
    One day a month we have have members of The Crossing go and serve the young women and young men in this adolescent treatment facility.

Abroad

    Zach and Kara Zegan
    Zach and Kara Zegan are missionaries working with Josiah Venture (JV) in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe. They met while both serving God in Czech. They were recently married at the Crossing and plan to head back to Czech full-time in August 2012.

    In October and November, Kara and Zach are serving with JV on the Exit Tour in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic. The Exit Tour is and evangelical/music tour that goes into Eastern European high schools and works alongside local churches. Their aim is to share the Gospel of Christ while being a bridge that connects students with local churches.

    During their time in the States, Zach and Kara will be serving at the Crossing. Then in April, they will go to serve in Zach’s home church in Lancaster, CA.

    Kara and Zach will be living in a city in Eastern Czech when they return. They will work with a local church, discipling Czech youth and continuing to serve on the Exit Tour.
