Our gatherings are an opportunity worship Jesus Christ together through song, prayer, Scripture reading and teaching, and celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The Gospel is the centerpiece of every gathering because it is the centerpiece of our faith. For this reason we focus on truths of the Gospel: God’s beauty and holiness, our brokenness and need for forgiveness, grace, and healing, and the glory of Christ in uniting us to God and to one another in love through His life, death and resurrection.
Our Sunday gatherings are always a great time to meet new people, worship with the rest of the Crossing family, and be challenged to grow through the Word of God while our children learn in age-appropriate Bible classes.
What to Expect:
We encourage you to come as you are. We typically have coffee, juice and refreshments available to grab as you arrive. We take the first 10 minutes of our time together to chat, get to know new people and get caught up on the week. As you enter there will be a sign in table for children who wish to participate in our children’s classes. We have a nursery available for ages 0-2. Children ages 3 through 5th grade stay with the rest of the family while we sing some songs together. After we sing a few songs, the kids from age 3 through 5th grade are then led to age appropriate Bible classes while the rest of us sit under the preaching of God’s Word. After the service, parents should go immediately to pick their children up from their class. In full, our gatherings typically last about an hour and thirty minutes, but feel free to stick around as long as you want after the service to enjoy getting to know others in the community.
