We are grateful to God for the children that he has blessed us with. Teaching and shepherding our children to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ for God’s glory and their joy is core to the mission of The Crossing. We have structured our children’s ministry with this mission in mind.
What to Expect on a Sunday morning
When you come to our Sunday Gathering, you will be able to register your children with one of our Crossing Kids volunteers. If you are a first time visitor, you can follow signs to our Registration Station in the north wing of our church building. Once registered, Infants, Toddlers and Pre-K children may be dropped off at their classes 10 minutes prior to our service starting. Children in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade may be registered for their class, but they will remain in the worship service with their parents to sing songs that celebrate what Christ has done for us. After we corporately sing songs, the children will be dismissed to their class.
Note: Parents may feel free to escort the children to their classes or to have their kids remain in the sanctuary with them during the sermon. After the service, please promptly pick up your children from their classes.

Curriculum
Children Pre-K through 3rd Grade are taught about God’s story of salvation through Jesus Christ. Over the course of several months, each class will learn about the glorious, true story from beginning to end. As they work through the little stories that make up this Grand Story, they will learn to see Jesus as the main character of the Bible and their only hope for abundant and eternal life with God. We use The Gospel Project curriculum to aid our teachers to invest the gospel in the kids.
Mother & Infant Room
We have a room for mothers with infants available for nursing mothers. This room is located in the first (south) hallway when you enter our church building. We have a video feed of the service playing in this room each Sunday.
Children’s Ministry Volunteers
If you are interested in volunteering to serve in our children’s ministry, please contact Pastor Rich Gardner.
For those who already serve, thank you for everything you do to love and serve the kids and families of The Crossing. You are making disciples who we hope will go and make disciples of all nations. Loving and serving children in the name of Christ is equivalent to loving and serving God. This is a a response to the gospel of true worship. Those who lay down your lives to serve the children are truly among the greatest in the Kingdom of God, and we trust that you are encouraged and motivated by that truth.
We look forward to seeing these children mature in their love for Christ and His Kingdom. In faith, we anticipate the day when these children will be the leaders of the Church, laying their lives down to make disciples of all nations.
