TLC -The Ladies of The Crossing
Being a woman in today’s culture presents a number of deep joys while at the same time many challenges to following Jesus. Our desire is to have the young and older women of our church in life giving relationships to help them grow in their knowledge of God and live out their identity in Christ. This happens primarily in Life Groups. However, TLC exists to help foster relationships with the women across church body to know and grow together.
We primarily accomplish this through three rhythms:
G2 (Generation 2 Generation) was started with a desire to have the older women in our church train the younger women as Titus 2 instructs. G2 occurs four times a year and gives our ladies theological training to fulfill our mission as a church - to love God and make disciples.
TLC Events occur throughout the year as a great environment to have our ladies engage with one another to deepen relationships. They also serve as a catalyst to introduce new ladies to our church in a more intimate setting.
Mom’s Study - Our mom's study exists to connect mothers in this unique season of life. Our desire is to provide a community and partnership that spurs us in our walk with the Lord, helps us serve others, as well as provide an environment to invite others into this community. The mom’s study runs through the school year and meets twice a month. This study is open for women who are, have been or aspire to motherhood.
